I really don't understand why people feel the need to comment on other's family size. My MIL does this about her brother; they have 8 kids ranging from 30 to 8 now. I probably wouldn't want that many, but it's still a wonderful and happy thing and every baby deserves to be celebrated and to have people get excited. I'll get off my soapbox now .

Well congratulations!!! *I* think big families are WONDERFUL!!!

That's at least one positive reaction. I can only imagine the things my family/friends/strangers will say if we make it to that many.

We've told all our family (immediate and close extended family) ds1 knows( he's 4). Tonight we tell our church family and next week I'll start telling close friends. I am only 5 weeks....but I have never kept my mouth shut for more than a week about being pregnant.

DH doesn't even know. I want to make sure. We likely won't tell family until this summer. I thought about taking a pic of our shoes lined up with an extra tiny pair at the end and making it my cover pic on fb. Then see how long it takes people to notice. Last time I posted something on fb about my u/s going well, we had told our parents only. Everyone was like, wait, are you pregnant? It was fun.

SO wants to make an announcement on FB after our ultrasound on the 28th.

We've told all of our family, still haven't made the facebook announcement yet though. I want to do something cute and clever, but I haven't figured anything out. Anyone have some ideas?
