Re: new BGE Vs. Flip (and action shots)

I took it off my daughter after she wore it for a few hours (she's potty training, so it wasn't wet), and it was all bunched in the middle. I am going to try to adjust the rise and see if that helps any.

Yep this is what I was thinking would happen then the PUL is touching their delicate parts.

Her delicate parts still were only touching the cotton, but her legs and buns were definitely right against the PUL. NOW it may be because it's not fully prepped so there's too much length. Once it shrinks down, it's possible it will stay in place better.

Exactly! It is too "Flip"ish to be the BGE IMO. Makes me sad that when I journey down the road of AIO again in the future(and I know I will) , the normal BGE will be a thing of the past.

agree

I wish they would sell the isnert by itself so we could use that in our Flips.

I think that is what the new daytime Flip insert is supposed to be. When folded it is 6 layers of cotton.

Or you could do what I do and just buy Thirsties Hemp inserts. They are 6 layers of hemp/cotton blend jersey. I have size large and they fit perfectly on the medium setting. Works out great!

I think the new day time inserts are similar material if not the same? I could be wrong.
IMO I'll still to the old style bge and use flips and the day time inserts. The new bge seems like a flip, as everyone else has said too. I still have one on the way just to be sure

I don't like how wide they are! They are just as wide as a Flip.

ETA: In Anna's pictures, the rise doesn't look much taller at all. It's just wider.

I went ahead and bought the new flip inserts, and it seems very similar to the cotton used in the new BGE
