Trying to find a good starting point for my 4 year old. Has any one tried Hooked on Phonics?

Me, me, me! We love HOP! Started in pre-k with both of my kids and DS1 is 1/2 way through their 1st grade program.

We are using it with our youngest. We are also about halfway through the first grade program with him. We love it!

We did the PreK and are now working through the kinder dvds. We also love them here!

We also use HOP and my 5yo K'er is halfway through the 1st grade level. We started last August.

I used to see it at Target. But not in quite a while.

I purchased it from the HOP website and googled for a coupon code. I paid $132 for pre-k through 2nd grade....this was several years ago.

I also used it for pre k and kindergarten. I got mine atTarget...they usually clearance them out after school starts, though. Try eBay, though...I have been really happy with the program!

We had been using Horizon Phonics K and weren't getting any where. We switched to HOP and she finally gets it. We've been since flying through it.
