Leaky diapers on chunky baby - help!

I've been cloth diapering for about 6 months, and it's gone really well. But recently my diapers have been leaking a lot on my chunky 7-month-old, mostly around the tummy. I have a variety of diapers (all AIOs), and they all leak on him, after only 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Is this normal? I'm CD my toddler too, and he's fine with any diaper. I almost never have leaks on him. He's not a heavy wetter - and my infant obviously is - but still...

Any suggestions? What do you use on chunky babies? Help!

I have a chunky (22lbs) 7 month old. We use BGE, Sandy's fitteds with Flips and flats. We've never had a leak. Your LO may need more absorbency. What AIO are you using?

I agree, you may need more absorbancy. Are they one size AIOs? You might need to adjust the rise so that it is a little higher.

We mostly used covers and flats, but around age 7 mo we ended up having to start inserting more absorbent things in the diaper. I don't know much about AIOs, but can you just throw a folded washcloth in there? That actually did the trick for us.
