Kicking the seat rf
My dd is 19 months and is rear facing in a graco my size 70. She has just started to extend her legs and push and kick against the seat. Her Carseat is installed tight with the seatbelt locked but of course when she pushes hard the seat moves a little. Is there anything wrong with this or anything we need to do differently. I'm trying to just ride out this new discovery with kicking the seat. If I give her attention for it I'm sure that will add more to her fun.
I just want to be sure this is not going to damage the seat in some way.

Re: Kicking the seat rf
When you install the car seat, check to be sure there is less than 1" movement at the belt path when you shake left/right, up/down, and front/back. Movement at the head of the seat is fine; it's only movement at the belt path that is significant.
If your daughter can kick the seat more than an inch, see if you can tighten the belt any. I find it helps to unbuckle and let the belt click back once then rebuckle. As long as she's not moving the seat more than 1", kicking won't be a problem. She won't injure herself and her legs aren't strong enough to stretch the seat belt. You can hang a thin towel from the headrest down the back of vehicle seat to prevent wear/tear to the vehicle if you like.
