In the same predicament. Except cloth, not leather. Google says alcohol, but I haven't had the nerve to try yet, for fear of making it worse :-(

Re: Stain help

I always use finger nail polish remover to get rid of sharpie stains but I'm not sure what that would do to a leather couch.

Ds colored all over our beautiful cabinets with Sharpie when we first moved here. I nearly cried. I had some Goo Gone and gave it a try. Worked like a charm! Also Magic Erasers work well too

Do you think goo gone is ok on leather? I think I have a magic eraser. Ill try it first.

We have dark leather sofas and I've used goo gone on them. I would just try it on an area that doesn't show first just in case

Re: Stain help

My sister has some stuff from maleleuca (not sure how it is spelled) and it is magic.......it removes everything! My niece colored with permanent marker on their windowsill, and it came right off.

Re: Stain help

I usually try disposable baby wipes first - they get off everything!
