What does your midwife charge?

I'm sure there is a wide range of normal, I'm just curious how much it runs where you are.

Re: What does your midwife charge?

$3000 + extra for whatever bloodwork you want to have done (she doesn't require it). But she is very open to bartering & just giving discounts, in general, which is AWESOME!

I'm in VA.

$5900. I am in AZ. That's what she charges the insurance and I have to pay a percentage. Not sure if she's got a lower cash-rate though.

Re: What does your midwife charge?

Hmmm, those rates are really closer together than I would have guessed. The only one I've been able to find so far (that's close enough) charges $3600. How do I find a midwife?

Nothing. It's covered by health care in my province.
