Credit report question...

I just had a quick question, just doing a general credit check for both myself and dh and I found that our car loan reported us 120 days late one month last year. Basically what happened was I have to pay that bill through western union and its not the best (I wish I could just have it directly taken out of my acct). However I was messing around with the amount I pay each month and I accidentally took it off autopay. so the car payment is due the 25th, I get a call the same day from the company asking where my payment is. I feel like a moron ( I've never not paid a bill on time since I was 16) The phone rep tells me I can just pay on the phone, so I do that and I think things are fine, I ask if there is a late fee and she says no because it was the "same" day etc. Now I see this on my credit report?? I've never had anything bad on there or wrong that I needed to get off. Should I call the car loan people and just ask them what the deal is?

if it was late before then let be .but if still doing lates i definitely would get on it. umm if incorrect let credit reporting companies know. we had incorrect stuff on ours & getting the credit reporters know then they fixed it. i know our net via centurylink gets sent right since electronic pay but centurylink is like send 5 days before.... but if we put for due date it says on time on bill.

Well it wasn't late, she called me the 25th and I paid it over the phone. It was due the 25th, so where did the 120 days late come in kwim? I will call them on monday, thanks.
