I picked 4 of them.
Rock/alternative, blues (new stuff like Adelle), 80-90's, and oldies. But my FAV is ex, Led Zeplin and music like Fiona Apple and Sarah Mclochlin. Not sure if those 2 are blues or alt? I do love some classic rock! I'm kin of a modge-podge of likes hun!! Ray picks on me all the time for it, lol. I even like some of the hit Marylyn Manson older songs. On the other end of the scale, oldies or even some old school Madonna, lol!

Re: A fun survery for us country folk!

I like quite a bit, some of my faves are Rascal Flatts (I know, I know. ), Pink (yeah I know she has a potty mouth but I love her), Def. Led Zep., I grew up on that! "Tangarine" is one of my faves, I love Allison Krauss's voice and she did a album with Robert plant that was awesome! I am not a big fan of rap, there's a few I like but not many. Mostly the alternative rock with some country if I had to sum up a style.

Dh listens to Adelle all the time, drives me nuts. I like some of her songs but geez..depressing and I don't need that! I love Alicia keyes though oh and Norah Jones, her voice is so soothing.

Re: A fun survery for us country folk!

I do not listen to much these days that's not Christian because I find so much is not appropriate for the kids, or the talk on the radio between the songs in inappropriate. However, I voted more than 1 because Christian isn't really a type of music and I do like lots of types. I like classical, Celtic, oldies, jazz, rock, country, etc. The only thing I really don't care for is rap and dance, I think. But, in regards to rap, it is mostly because the vast majority of what I've heard of it is very inappropriate for anyone, I feel.

Grew up on Bluegrass and "Gospel-grass", family played it. Still love it. I listen to a little of everything from bluegrass to hard rock, depending on my mood. The only thing I can't stand is rap.

Wow, I love getting great chat from Momas. Nice input ladies. Sounds like we all do like a wide variety. Not what I expected, lol. It also sounds like we mostly don't care for rap. I do see the language as a problem. Kinda cool to peak into all of our interests.

I voted newer rock/alternative. Not a fan of country music usually, but I'll listen to whatever if it sounds good
