Diaper Swappers

This took me 9 hours today. Filled 4 bags to throw away and 3 bags plus 4 big tote boxes (like the ones in the before pics) for donattion. I don't have a garage or storage closet, so between my closet and my kids' we have the camping gear, christmas stuff, etc. So I couldn't get it as emptied as I would like it. Also, I saw this online somewhere, where they made an office in the bedroom closet. I did it! Now my room looks much less cluttered. I moved DH's nightstand where the desk used to be. I know it looks a little weird, but I needed to move it so I could move the bed over to make room for the chair in our new office, lol. It feels much more spacious with the bed moved over. I will purge more and make more changes in this room, but here's my first pass.

Corner after. I hope to downsize or get rid of some of the furniture eventually. I can't do to much at once or DH will get freaked out.

It doesn't look that different in the pics, but I got rid of tons. I finally let go of all the scrapbooking stuff that I never used, books, clothes, some of the baby stuff and a bunch of broken things I was gonna fix someday. I took all the photos out of the frames and donated like 15 frames that have been in a box since we moved here 2 years ago. I went through my keepsakes and my kids' art. My car is full of stuff I'll be donating tomorrow.

The closets look great and you can tell the difference and it does look much different and better!

Umm, you can totally see the difference. I love before and after pictures! Yours are so impressive and inspirational... I need to start taking before pictures!
