Re: Natural postpartum healing/recovery tips.

Sitz baths are good, ice packs if needed, and I loved taking arnica this time- it made a big difference. Also make sure you get enough fluids and rest, making sure to not do too much and putting your feet up as much as possible.

Hot bath (as hot as you can stand) for hemorrhoids! I had some awful ones last time around and that helped SO much! It also promotes good blood flow, to assist healing.

Wow no cold drinks will be so hard to avoid! I have never heard that before! I love water with crushed ice especially when I'm breastfeeding it helps to hydrate me. Thats for the tip I'll have to try my best

You got hemorrhoids postpartum? Interesting I'll have to look out for those! Yay any excuse for hot baths is okay by me

Lots of water. Also I massaged my abdomen pretty vigorously whenever I had a minute - it stimulates cramping and the uterus returning to its normal state. My PP bleeding only lasted like a week.

Yeah, I had them a bit prior to my first pregnancy too, they were aggravated by birth and the second time around they were pretty bad. I pushed for a long time with both babies though, which I'm sure was the main reason why!!

Re: Natural postpartum healing/recovery tips.

The postpartum hemorrhoids are the worst. I didn't get them in pregnancy at all, but I got them afterwards with the last four. Didn't push very long at all, so I'm not sure what exactly the issue was. I got proctofoam for them, which isn't "natural", but it sure worked!

As far as natural postpartum tips - sea salt water baths for healing for your perineum (or herbal baths, if you've got postpartum bath herbs.)
Ice packs if you had tearing.
Breast pump for a one-time complete pump out to ease engorgement.
