pumping in my office, what sign should I put on my door?

I went back to work today after staying at home for only 7 weeks with my DD, *sadface*.
I have an office, but my office door has no locks and has a big window, I can block it off but want to put up a sign so people don't accidentally open the door while I'm pumping.

Any suggestions on what my sign should say?

Mine says "Please do not enter. Thanks!" People figured out what it meant pretty quickly, though they like to talk to me through the door while I'm pumping!

Re: pumping in my office, what sign should I put on my door?

I didn't have an office where I worked after having DD (I worked at an animal shelter). I use one of our Vet's offices. So, since it wasn't my office, I locked the door and put a sign up that said "Office in use, do not enter". Everyone knew what was going on (there was another pumping mama, too), but it was obvious . . . we joked about putting a sign up that said "Lactation Station" LOL

Re: pumping in my office, what sign should I put on my door?

I never had anyone walk through a closed door or try to when it was locked. But I only closed my door when I didn't want to be disturbed, in a meeting, on a call, etc. They would just call me if my door was closed. I think I'd put a not that says do not disturb or something similar. You could get one of those be back in x minutes signs with the dial that you could turn. LOL!

I do agree that they will figure out fairly quickly what's going on and respect your privacy.

I work with a bunch of guys with no other women around, not sure if they will "get it". lol.

I thought about saying something like "On Mom Duty" or something similar but didn't want to offend someone who didn't like the idea of women getting time off for having babies to begin with. They do still exist! lol

I found this I liked:

I would go with Please Do Not Disturb in big capitol letters on bright paper.

I put the international breastfeeding sign with the words "Please do not disturb. Check back in 15 minutes" or something similar, I don't remember the exact phrasing.

Re: pumping in my office, what sign should I put on my door?

People have to use the ladies room here and its a multi stall bathroom for several companies so they just can't lock the door. Most people just pump and cover up while doing it in the bathroom. Sadly there is no place to sit in the bathoom near the outlet. None of our offices have locking doors and all the office walls are glass see thru so the only privacy you can get here is the bathroom or your car.

I would put Pumping please don't disturb.
