Re: Basically it's Tuesday

Ok so we had her do Hapt school work and Real school work.

Haupt school she got 1.8...average for other users is 3.2
Real school she got 1.4.....average for other users was 2.1

But this was with us going through it with her.

Now she has a 2.0...average from others users 2.4...Real school work.

This is all very odd because in school she's getting 5+

She thinks it's down to the timed tests...I have to agree.

I will say it isn't jacks behavior that is a problem. He listens but the other kids do not which means he is punished

Kari today the school is bringing in a behavior specialist to observe and give pointers to all of the kids with ieps. Even one that wasn't given a name for what is wrong she just has issues. I am excited for it because she is going to give us pointers and I work with all 4 of the kids observed today!

Ohhhh that IS exciting!

Did you watch the program on NF?

I watched the whole thing. It was really interesting. I loved that it was important to have skills that are actually useful to Navajo life. When I saw the one girl with her hair up on the back of her head, like you described, that was really cool. Lots of other things too. Like the language and the cooking...and not forgetting the sheep slaughtering.

I'm glad...if it helps these kids it can only be good. I really feel for them. I know how hard it was for my girls before they were diagnosed. It was horrible. They were always in trouble and so unhappy.

Re: Basically it's Tuesday

As my meds take a really long time to get through my system...and for me to feel normal I've taken them early tonight. I hope that way they might have cleared more by the time I go to work tomorrow.
