Pass Through Pockets

Anyone have any experience with these? I am getting a custom order and I just can't decide between trying the pass through pockets or just getting AI2's. I am getting 3 dipes made for me. Right now we are waiting for the snaps but I really want some suggestions. The fabric is a Pul Laminated cotton with a red MM microfleece.

So what do you think?

What's a pass through pocket??

It is a pocket diper with an opening at both ends. Supposedly it makes it easier to stuff and you can just throw them into the wash without removing the inserts because they will come out in the washer. So you don't have to pull the inserts when they are dirty. I was told that ecodipes.com trademarked them. I just have never had any experience with them.

I've seen them at Mothereve.com? I think I'm going to try one. Seems intersting to me. I'm not a big fan of the stuffing and unstuffing aspects of pockets.

yes, The mothereve Grow With Me OS dipe is like that. They call it a "sleeve" design and that they have it patent pending. Seems pretty darn cool, but I'll never know because I'm selling it, lol.

Ahh I see...Would that cause more wicking at the top?

My Dilly Doos have a sleeve opening for extra stuffing and I love how the insert comes out in the wash. I hate touching them. It doesn't wick at the top. I have pockets that have an opening in the front, and they don't wick either.

Where were you looking to buy the sleeve diaper?

I don't think so because there are some small snaps at the tope that you can close it and the insert won't go all the way to the very top. I'm not for sure though, I haven't used it.

They are being made for me by the Bear essentials. I just hadn't heard of them before. I guess I will try it and I can pass on my opinions after I try them.
