they are beautiful! Yes, I would call the diapers diaper-related.

I would totally call those diaper related

Think I might whip up some more wipes today. Two kids have fully converted, one is half and half (the 3 year old), and I have fully converted...and goodness, apparently we go through a LOT of wipes.

Question- I am looking for a cheap way to help organize my stuff a bit. I outgrew the system that I have (just too many different types of notions, fabrics, etc, and even though it isn't a ton, this isn't going to work anymore.

I was thinking about maybe going with two of these for under my desk. My son has one of them for his lego's and it seems it would work, but if anyone has cheaper suggestions, let me know! -

He had just one and it was $18 in the store...cheaper than online, so that's weird.

they are probably more online to account for higher shipping costs...

they would be great for organizing notions if you can keep them somewhere that curious crawling babies don't have access to them.... I used to keep my notions in a locked filing cabinet!

now I have all of my scissors/rotary cutters and pens on a high shelf, and everything else in this:
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40196241/

it is not cheap, but it is on wheels, so I turn it in and tuck it under the desk when not in use and DS can't get in the drawers, when I am using it I pull it out and keep my cutting mats on top, so it is a great added work surface.

I hate the plastic stuff, it is cheaper, so always tempting, but it doesn't hold up and you can't use the top surface for much of anything, so I always try to save up for longer to get a sturdier piece if I can... with more function too.

of course if you go the drawers now and upgraded later those drawers are so universal that it will be easy to re-purpose them.

Another great idea for storing small notions is a tackle box. I used to have a really big really nice one, and when I got that drawer organizer DH hijacked it for his stuff for repairing instruments.

This is what I have to work with...with a very small budget, at least for now. My work space- this is fully cleaned and tidied up.

This girl is having a good working relationship with her sewing machine today So far, I've done 2 UFO's and made some cloth napkins from fabric laying on the table. I am in the process of looking for my stitch ripper to fix the trainer I was working on last night so that would be my excuse for getting to them. Or, I'm finally nesting

Nice work Sonya!! I love productive days.

I think I am going to be brave and head to both walmart and target, and just make my husband keep me on track. I really want to get my stuff clean looking and organized better in here. Looking on pinterest for a few other organizing ideas as well.

Hoping I can get motivation and convince DH to go to IKEA and I can pick up a new shelf to put all my yarn on so it's out of the clear tubs and visible. That way I can see what I have and remind myself that I dont need anymore and start working on projects

Oooh - that sounds both Pretty AND functional!!

I'm going to do an upcycled skirt for me and perhaps a fitted for DS, because I'm trying to figure out what size/pattern to make for him and I'm undecided.... of course, there are lots of other things taunting me right now, so the real problem is that I can't decide what to do first!!

though I do have 6 seams to stitch to finish up a quilt block before I do anything else...

I'm totally out of the crafty spirit today. I had a whole list of things I wanted to do but after this mornings discovery (head gasket on my car went) my mood has totally fallen down. But I can't be to down... At least after helping Donna (the lady I've been helping to organize her home) today at a local yardage sale, she let me pick through the unsold items an take what I would like. So that's a bonus at least. Do I count this against me in the game?
