Yesterday I unloaded and did the dishwasher. That's all.

i worked for about an hour, lol. that's all. it was nice, though. i can't lie. i typically work 14-16 hours a day right now, so the break was much needed. and actually, i guess i did more than that.

i got up, showered, got the kids bathed, took the kids to school, then went to the doctor. then i came home, worked for a few, and then had a friend over for a couple of hours. then i went and got the kids from school, came home, worked a little bit more. then when dh got home, we went to the grocery store. then i came home, got the kids ready for bed, watched a tv show with dh, and was in bed by 9:30. so, unproductive as it was, it was a nice day to relax a bit. i NEVER take days like that anymore. being 31 weeks pregnant, it was necessary.

Re: Happy Homemakers -- March 2013.

Haha, yeah, I woke up, DD woke up five minutes later. I ran around like a crazy woman getting things ready for a play date. Showed up, was the only one there so I went to my grandparents house for tea until nap time. Then, I came home, napped with the wee one for two hours, did the dishwasher, got a call from my MIL asking to take said wee one for a few hours. Got her together, down there and it was 3:30. I sat on the couch willing telekenisis to work so I could put toys away and stay on the couch. DH got home at 4, hung out with him then went to work from 5-10.

Let me see.. I'm almost done deep cleaning zone 2 (kitchen, pantry, laundry) for the week. Here's what's already done:

wipe down laundry machines
bleach washer
wash lint trap with soap and water
vacuum lint trap and door seal on dryer
take out laundry trash
Declutter pantry
organize pantry
sweep pantry
mop pantry
wash kitchen cabinet faces
oil cutting boards
sharpen knives
clean vent hood
clean microwave inside and out
wash fridge shelves and drawers
clean toaster
clean high chair
sanitize counters
sanitize sink
bleach cleaning tools
soak cat dishes

I'm tired just typing that. I still need to wash the freezer shelves and drawers then sweep and mop the kitchen and I'm done!

I'm tired just reading your list! I have some deep cleaning to tackle myself before DD's party next month that I've been putting off far too long.

Re: Happy Homemakers -- March 2013.

Sewing, lots of sewing must be done. House is clean enough where I can slack a bit and work on DD's dress for her party and some other long-waiting projects.

Done:
-- morning farm chores
-- dinner in crockpot
-- unloaded/loaded dishwasher
-- finished and mailed photobooks for DH
-- finished and mailed DD's party invites
-- picked up framing order + other errands
-- framed DD's prints + completed photo album
-- started a load washing
-- cleaned office floor
-- swept entry/hallway
-- cleaned off buffet table

Still to do:
-- list diaper destash on FSOT
-- finish dishes
-- dry and put away all laundry
-- sweep/vacuum living/dining area
-- sweep and tidy laundry room
-- bathrooms
