Good morning everyone.

The girls were super cheeky this morning but they left on time. Fynn was a funny thing this morning...asking me to brush his hair and to put a hair-bobble in. I dont mind at home; he can have as many hair-bobbles as he likes but not so much for kindergarten. Nail polish is a different thing; he can wear that wherever he wants, in any colour he wants.

Morning. I was trying to get Bella out of bed for school when we got a call for 2 hr late start. Which means BIL had crappy roads driving in. The wind has been blowing for hours and our whole yard has drifts, hopefully the truck makes it out to the road to take the kids to school!
The pot pie was great! I will definitely use the recipe again, but probably halve the biscuit recipe because it was too much.

Laying in bed. MH was up 2 times. The person I was riding to the training site with text me early, she is sick so now Jerry will take me.

Looks like quite the MN winter storm over the next 2 days.

I doubled the potpie part when I made it Jess so the amount of biscuit was good. My recipe had tarragon biscuits...parmesan sound yummier

OK up, dog fed, watered and untangled from his lead. Cat fed, watered. Daily load of clothes in the washer. Jerry and MH have the last two from yesterday to fold. Kitchen floor swept, mopped, trash cans wiped down, trash to the street.

Now I can make lunch and enjoy a cup of coffee without the kitchen pissing me off.

Good idea Jen. DH has requested less ethnic food, so I need to try to change up the menu I guess. For me I always feel like American food is heavier unless we are grilling. This recipe was pretty healthy though so I will look around for some more. Can't wait for the kids to go to school. But then of course I will have to get ready too. :/ working is for the birds

Kids got ready super early. I am having trouble because with so much free time, they want to play electronics. I may have to hide the Nooks tonight.

Janine, I think oolong is a kind of tea. So she probably meant pineapple tea.

Kari, that sucks about Walker's ear. I hope the head doc can give you some answers.

Ok, I need some suggestions from seasoned northerners. We have about 3-4 inches of solidly frozen snow on our circle drive and sidewalk. I don't think it's going to thaw before the next snowfall. I want at least the sidewalk cleared, would love to clear the circle drive at least enough to park a car so it's not in the way of the main driveway. Can't shovel or plow it, it is solid - I can walk on it and leave no footprints. I thought about taking buckets of water...but would that just make it worse? What are my options, if any?

sounds like you have to get yourself an ice chopper and just work your *** off at it Cheryl. It sucks but it is the only way to do it.
