Talking with some big etsy sellers to see about adjusting them to be less lalaloopsy-ish, so I won't have a lawsuit on my hands BUT yes, I am hoping to sell them.

My daughter had to have those Silly Hair ones and they were SO ridiculous! Their heads are so heavy, their bodies so puny... they don't sit up or sit down or stand, just they lay there, head-heavy and the made from hardest plastic ever. UGH.

I love that this is a REAL La-La-Loopsy doll (funny that they are plastic, pretending to be handstitched and handmade, irony much?). Great job!
It's so true, even though I love the dolls, my daughters are bonkers for them. They LOVED this doll.

In lalaloopsy fashion I named it for my daughter that is addicted to sign-language, and will tell you the story of the three bears. Her hair is LONG and curly blonde. The doll was called "Amy-Locks" and the three bears.

Just make sure you keep track of how much time and material cost goes into each one and price accordingly. I would make something like that for my daughter, but don't think I would be able to sell it because it would take me so long. My husband and I made two fish tank stands several weeks ago and at first I was like, hey this would be fun to make them to sell. After I had been working on them for over a week, I realized that I would have to price them WAY too high than what people would be willing to spend to cover materials and time. Just a thought - I do hope you are able to sell them because they are darling! I suppose calling them "Lalacutsies" would be a little too close. Been thinking of making a new applique design for my woolies and calling it "Lalapoopsies"

Right.... I hear ya. I've sold online for years in different ventures.... I just ADORE making toys, but never took the plunge.....
I think I was intimidated by the waldorf dolls.
