Don't you hate it? Lol! My hubby is griping cause there's no sweet tea. I told him there wasn't any cause I'd drink it if we had it he says what's that got to do with me having tea. Men stink he's barely done anything & he's losing weight.

I'm the same as you, I love food, and when I started I hated the exercise. I'm learning to enjoy the "high" that comes with it but it's taken time. There's no food that can make me feel as good as fitting into old jeans, having the energy to be able to keep up with my kids, not having my body ache and my heart race. I'm learning that I can't be a glutton all the time. There's a time to indulge and a time to hold back. I can enjoy those same things, but in much smaller amounts and if it's something really bad then I have to "pay" for it in exercise. Do I want to do that exercise to "pay" for the food? If not, then I can't have it. Don't allow any junk in the house, not even for the kids. They don't "need" it any more than you do. I though my kids would have a fit about not having chips, cookies and the like but they really like crackers and popcorn and fruit and haven't asked for the other stuff. Have some easy things to grab for when you're too tired or rushed to make a good decision. My go-to foods are greek yogurt, baggies of trail mix and my Gnc lean shakes. You really need to find exercises you don't mind doing. We had a treadmill, I hated it. I sold it. I got a stationary bike and I use it constantly and I can forget how long I've been going. My dh rides it while he watches tv. I do my workout videos while my son is napping and the other boys are at school. If night time or early morning is the only time you can do this, then you'll have to commit to that.

WOW I AM MOTIVATED NOW! =)

I hope everyone had a happy Easter!! After the dinner today though I'm in so much trouble but I didn't eat as much as I normally would & skipped dessert. I think it's supposed to be pretty tomorrow if so I'm hitting the pavement for some exercise I do more if I'm outside I noticed.

We took the baby to the Chattanooga zoo today & had fun that was an hour of walking around & going in circles trying to figure out what we'd seen & what we hadn't. So I got some exercise in.

Re: Any suggestions on staying motivated and on track?

Easter wasnt too much of a challenge for eating since it wasnt our normal Easter. DH was out of town for work and we headed to my brothers and ate out for lunch and it wasnt that good so no tempation. He did send a bunch of cookies home w/ the kids and I ended up eating 2 bars and 2 cookies yesterday. On a better note though I am on week 5 of the C25K but dragging it out a bit since I dont necessarily agree w/ how they do it sometimes so I am just using their system and adjusting it for myself. I am starting to eat oatmeal for breakfast and moving my favorite egg combo to lunch.
Weighing at 158.2
I am bummed that I am not losing weight faster but, I see where my problems are and have noticed the slower I lose weight it doesnt come back w/ a few bad days of eating Need to keep working on cutting out the bad foods more

Loving the weather right now got to walk about 40 mins before baby got cranky & had to come home for a nap. I'm still hanging between 137&139 I'm stuck here so I'm going to cut out my sweet tea which is going to be so hard. Tea is my drug!! I'm going to cut out a lot of my bread also. My mom had to cause her sugar got high & she lost a good bit just by doing that. Aaaah its going to be super hard. But I have 3 weeks before vacation to be 135 would be good
But a lower number would be even better.

Re: Any suggestions on staying motivated and on track?

I am getting super frustrated. I need to take measurements but, my lbs are going NOWHERE! NOt sure what other changes I need to make except getting back on MFP and logging everything I eat . That helps but still is time consuming. Oh well.
Starting Monday I will be doing 5 days or working out now that my ab video is here
