I am at my wits end.

My DD has had a diaper rash for forever. I am so frustrated! I thought I had figured it out- I thought the serging on her Workhorses was rubbing her (it is right where they hit when on). So I switched to pockets, flats, and prefolds. It still is not going away. I thought it was yeast but 2 pediatricians said it is not, plus if it was yeast I'm assuming it would spread. One ped said it is contact rash, the other said eczema. I have tried with no success:

-switching from Tide to BumGenius detergent (not all diapers were washed in the BG yet)
-lanolin
-Lotrimin
-coconut oil
-lots of nakey time
-hydrocortisone
-butt paste
-Motherlove diaper rash and Thrush cream
-Earth Mama Angel Baby
etc.

Even sposies has not cleared it up. It doesn't spread, just gets worse and then a little better but never completely goes away. Any ideas?

Swagbucks. Search. Earn. Redeem. Yep, it's that simple (I've earned $70 in gift cards and counting!).

I used emu oil with great success on my kids eczema when she was a babe. And this will sound insane, but look up bleach baths. Or take the little one to the pool if you have a local indoor one. The chlorine works wonders.

Friction? Maybe rubbing would be my thought. That's tough.

We have really sensitive skin so random rashes usually appear but then go away. Never anything serious. But we have had a lot of friction rashes

Oh and do you do wool? We are allergic to wool and lanolin here so I cringe when people recommend them for rashes

What do you use for a friction rash?

Is it staph? For eczema on my DD we have to occasionally use a prescription steroid cream.
