Is this normal
I am 3 weeks postpartum and I have been pumping and breastfeeding. So this morning we decided to see how many bags I have frozen. I have 88 bags frozen (all between 4-5 ounces each) and we do use some bags so my hubby can feed him. Is this normal for 3 weeks postpartum?
This is the photo I took this morning.

Re: Is this normal
Hey I too am 3wks postpardum! And I have over 200 oz pumped as well as feeding and dad feeding what I have pumped! Glad to know I'm not alone!! But tip to save space, lay your bags flat... I find I'm not running out of space as fast laying them flat.

Re: Is this normal
I think you probably have an oversupply which when your Eping isn't a bad thing.
congrats on the stash!

Re: Is this normal
I was told an over supply is a bad thing and to avoid it. Is that true then?

Re: Is this normal
I'm a bit jealous. From someone who didn't take advantage of the oversupply in the beginning. I'm down to 7oz frozen at 6 months. Keep it up!! But like PP said, lay your bags flat to save space. I saw someone else on here recommend using a gift bag in the freezer and it has worked for me. just cut a slit out of the bottom so that as you stack your new bags in the top to freeze you can easily pull the oldest bags from the bottom.

Re: Is this normal
My mom had told me to try to avoid it because she had so much milk. As soon as I started working I wished I hadn't listened to her though.

Re: Is this normal
I just hope that we can get a bigger freezer soon. I am running out of space because of how many bags I have in there and our freezer is tiny.

Re: Is this normal
Well in the beginning I was pumping whenever my boobs were hard or when I felt my let down so I was pumping every hour or two plus feeding my son that is how it got so high I think. But now I pump as I feel like I need to but yesterday morning I pumped 8 ounces and an hour later when I was hurting I pumped again and got another 11 ounces. This morning I pumped 12 ounces at one sitting but my milk seems to get lower during the day.
