Swim diapers

Anyone use like the iplay swim diapers? My baby boy has the most sensitive skin and I don't really want to put him in a despoable swim diaper even. Does anyone use them or have one for sale that would fit 25pound 14 month old at least I think that's about where he will be about June

We used an iplay when DS was tiny. He's a peanut and I felt like he grew out if it well before the sizing says he should. We have a fuzzibunz OS with a broken snap that he uses exclusively for swimming now and it works great for us.

Re: Swim diapers

So you just use a pocket diaper without an insert or?

You don't need to stuff it. Proper swim diapers aren't water proof and are only meant to contain poo. Stuffing it will just weigh the poor kid down, as it will get water logged quickly.

That is really good to know. I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out what I am going to do this summer. I don't want to use our normal CDs for this because our beach water isn't the cleanest.

With washing are there extra steps for swim diapers or CDs you use to go swimming with?

I just throw it in with our regular laundry. It will never be part of our diaper rotation since it is damaged, so I don't worry about it at all.

Re: Swim diapers

U used an Iplay swim suit with the diaper thing inside until DD potty trained. It fit for a lot longer than just the infant diaper and looked way cuter than a swim diaper.
