Diaper Swappers

We issued a challenge to ourselves to buy nothing new for one entire year. Used items if necessary (like clothing) are okay as are consumables (food, medications, etc). We are several weeks into the challenge and I am recording our progress on my blog.

We have our first real challenge: My oldest has to make a leprechaun trap for school. Of course she has these grand plans for what she wants to do and I have to figure out how to do it without running to the dollar store for supplies. The biggest problem is that it has to be triggered by the leprechaun and not the student....

I have to admit I am a little jealous of the Airman's Attic! How cool is that resource! It is nice to read a blog with how NOT to spend money. It makes it fun to think outside of the box and figure out a way around not buying new items. Way to go
