Re: What's for dinner this week?
a roast in the crockpot, stirfry using said roast leftovers, tomalies (if I get time to make a batch also from leftovers), fish, salad, breakfast for supper,
We've been doing 1 breakfast, 1 fish and 1 salad each week for this month and 1 main meat for the entire week. Last week I made 13 meals with an 18lb turkey (yes most of those are in the freezer).

Re: What's for dinner this week?
I almost always menu plan. Went Costco monthly trip and small Wal-Mart trip a few days ago and still haven't done a menu and really don't want to cook this week. Since I am a scratch cooker it has been tough. Sunday was chicken and veggies in the crock with fresh bed and rice custard. Left over rice used in a venison stew Monday with homemade biscuits. Left over chicken from Sunday was thrown with left over rice for stir fry tonight. I made a batch of yogurt yesterday and have made bone broth the last 3 days from Sunday chicken.... No plans tomorrow. Blegh

Re: What's for dinner this week?
Monday: homemade cheese pizza "rolls" made with biscuits (the recipe that's all over pinterest & facebook?? my kids were NOT impressed and each ate one bite of one roll & were done with them) and salads...the kids ended up eating cereal because they didn't like the rolls lol
Tuesday: chili & cornbread Wednesday: grilled chicken Caesar salads Thursday: soup with cheese tortellini, chicken, baby spinach, and...something else (some kind of bean maybe? and I think like carrots & green onions?)...I gotta find the recipe again ![]() Friday: pizza & salads (I know I know pizza twice a week, but we always do pizza & movies on Fridays)
