Wooly mamas??

Just wondering how many of us are planning on using wool for these babies! What do you have so far and what are you planning on buying/making?

OH and is anyone going to use a soaker sack? I'm thinking of making one or two for the nb/sm stage since it'll be easier to get on/off and I won't have to worry about size.

I hope to be. Since it's a summer baby, I'd love to have a bit of a stash in soakers/shorties.

I am still baffled at how I've accumulated that much wool. It doesn't seem like that much until I put it in writing LOL

Re: Wooly mamas??

i have a few wool covers but would really like some shorties/longies. I might buy a pair in xsmall and small for now.... I just really can't gauge how big this baby will be. Our DD was only 6.4 at 12days past her DD and so I am assuming this baby won't be more than 7 1/2 pounds but ya never know....

what are your fav brands?? i love the way the sbish/wild coconut wear ones feel... but BFF little guy wears them all the time and they are so super soft.

Sbish knitted, I really don't like. They are really thick and squishy, but the whole time I have had them, we've had leaking issues and they don't dry very fast because of how thick they are. I loved their interlock though.

My favorite non-knitted woollies are by far WCW and WoollyBottoms-- interlock and recycled. The recycled is pretty economical. I also love Disana wool.

I use cotton diapers and wool covers exclusively...my DD completely quit getting rashes after we switched from PUL to wool!

I have 20 covers (soakers/shorties/longies/wraps) for all stages newborn to toddler...about seven are one-size wraps, about three each are sized. I love them all and never have "run out" of covers even with sickness poo..nuff said. She's a toddler now so I always use Disana at night; totally bulletproof!
