East Texas/Tyler Texas Moms?

My husband and I are planning to potentially re-locate to Tyler Texas area. We are wondering some things before we move... what is the city and surrounding towns like? How conservative, Christian, family oriented is this area? Are there a lot of church communities? Many young families?

What is the general opinion in this area regarding anti-vax and homeschooling, natural family living? Is it frowned upon or encouraged lifestyle?

Re: East Texas/Tyler Texas Moms?

We are extreme East Dallas about 1 hour from Tyler. My Pastor and his family are from Tyler. They love the area. It is very family friendly. Lots of churches and fellowship opportunity. There is a huge homeschooling group. We bumped into them at the Dallas zoo one day. She said they were from Tyler. I dont know about the other questions.

And if you love Fiesta Ware there in an outlet in Canton. She has rows and bins of it in a big warehouse. Just a little bonus lol.
