Putting the CDs away :(

for the weekend! We are going to the IL's house. It makes me sad...but it also makes me happy to see my fully stocked changing table with all her clean dipes ready to greet us when we come home!

There's something nice about having all your clean CD's in one place, all together and ready to go! Why can't you take the CD to the in-law's house?

Have fun on your trip. I'd take my cloth with me. My ILs would just have to deal!

Re: Putting the CDs away :(

FIL would probably have a heart attack...at the thought of me disposing any kind of poop in the house or washing my dipes in their washer. I really want to bring them...but can't have them all sitting in our trunk in a wetbag in this heat I don't think.

I'm confused? Why can't you take your cloth?

I've camped for a week with cloth and no way to rinse. I used cheap fabric liners that I could toss if they were poopy (could use dispoable liners too), kept the dipes in an air-tight bucket and washed twice when we got home. Was super easy and had absolutely no lasting effects on the dipes.

well i don't have a full 3 days worth of dipes anyways and i just don't like to leave poop on them for so long either...

Um, so what do you do when *you* need to poop?

Personally, I think a weekend is short enough that I wouldn't worry about washing there. (Assuming you have a big enough stash - or you could just use disposables when you run out of cloth). I'd dump poop in their toilet (you know, the place HIS poop goes too ) and keep the wetbag in your room. He doesn't even need to know it is there.

Besides, what does he think you're going to be doing with poopy disposables? You're going to be disposing that into their trash (which is much worse than having it flush away in their toilet IMO).

Re: Putting the CDs away :(

I know I know.

He makes us poop outside.

Just kidding.

We can't dump...still have to spray dipes so that's not really an option.

Re: Putting the CDs away :(

Grab some flushable, disposable diaper liners and the poop is magically gone...

(I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I promise. If you can't /won't do it, you can't /won't do it. It really isn't a problem at all. I'm not a cloth diaper nazi! I just want to toss out some ideas that might work for you - I know that I HATE using disposables, so I've gotten creative at how to make cloth work when we're not in our normal routine).
