both of mine get irritated by it. When DD was PLing and old enough to tell me when she didn't like how something felt she told me that the Flip trainers were hot and sticky against her skin, because we'd used mostly GroBaby with her the whole exposed PUL thing was new to her and I couldn't get her to keep the trainers on.

With DS he can handle it here and there but if I were to use a system that had it exposed all day long, he would have a rash by the end.

clearly my kids are the exception to the rule, but it's so easy to avoid, and I can't imagine it being comfortable so I just don't do it.
