Returning to CDing after 10 years have ?

I'm pregnant with #3 my CD's are 10 years old. My 2nd had very acidic pee and got horriable rashes when I CD him. So he was a sposie baby. Anyway, I have enough diapers and sizes to CD this lil one for sure but of course I want to buy NEW diapers too. What should I get? My stash now consists of Very Baby AOIs, Mudpie Babies AOI, Christian Creations SOS fitteds, prefolds, Happy Henies, Wool longies and shorts, Wool Covers, Firefliy Fitteds, Elbee fitteds and some random WAHM made pockets and AOIs.

What do I need to try? What are the latest Hyena diapers? What is the must have diaper in 2013?

I liked AOI's and pockets the most, but had fun with fitteds and wool. Whats the story with Bum Genius, Flip and the ones at Target. Are they any good?

Re: Returning to CDing after 10 years have ?

You just went back to my years of CD'ing. I to have just come back into this world after 9+ years. My first is 10 . I purchased a few of the mainstream ones Bumgenius AIOs, Simplex Swadlebees NB AIOs & some Flip's.

I have still not purchased any of the WAHM diapers, not that I haven't been tempted. My stash also has Firefly Diapers(my faves) and Elbees, along with some ME diapes. SO I haven't really wanted to purchase anymore fitteds until I know for sure that what I have does not work, but its extremely hard to resist with so many cute diapers out there .

As for covers I decided to give a few of the new ones a try to see what works (rumparooz, thirsties, flips, econobums, etc)and purchased some wool covers from WCW and a soaker from Myecobaby in Etsy.. SUPER CUTE!

Have fun getting back into the CD world! Good luck resisting

anything for PUL, check the backside for cracking if you can. That's a long time in storage

Don't stretch the elastic to check it until you have washed all those old dipes. I ruined almost all of mine because the elastic was so dry in storage.

My stash was used by my friend who's baby just potty learned so they have life in them still I hope. I need to wash them and strip them and see what survives the wash I guess and then go from there on adding new diapers.
