Whether it's dressing too old or too young, women miss the mark more than they hit it, in terms of making the most of their assets. They don't know how to dress their shapes, what hairstyles look decent for their faces, etc. If we spent less time trying to look like somebody else, or at least trying to look like someone else tells us we ought, and more time really being honest with ourselves about our health, our comfort level, our assets, and even those areas that no one else should see, and trying to honor that, I think that women would not only look better, but they'd feel better about how they look
Great post!

Re: WTH Victoria's Secret????????

I read an interesting article about the "Bright Young Things" line this morning. http://m.jezebel.com/5992818/the-rig...ctorias-secret Apparently the line was never separate from the PINK line and was just a promotional around spring break. It seems this whole thing has been blown way out of perportion and VS was never marketing to pre-teens. It was always marketed to 15 and up. There's even a snopes about it- http://www.snopes.com/politics/sexua...riassecret.asp Sorry if someone's already mentioned this, I haven't been following this post very carefully.

Re: WTH Victoria's Secret????????

Ok, I have not shopped there in EONS but I will say what I did have (10yrs ago) was good quality and if I could pull it off, sure I'd buy it again. I guess I'm an oddball but I sort of expect a company like this to market to youngish women. And who besides me checked their cleavage for the apparent "raisin boob"?

I, admittedly, am getting old enough that, if not well-hydrated, I do look a little crepe-y in the cleavage area
