Holy Crap, I need to pick paint for an entire house!

I've got most of the rooms picked out but I just can't decide what to paint my 17 month old daughters room. It is small, 10x10 so I want something cheerful but not overwhelming. To give you an idea of how the rest of the house will look: the kitchen is a light lime green, the living room a tan (and suggestions for a great tan paint? There are only 1 million out there to pick from). The hall will be the same tan. The bathroom will probably be an aqua blue or yellow (could go either way). The master bedroom will be a medium blue. Our 3 year old daughter's room will be a light purple.

I originally thought of turquoise with coral curtains but I just can't find any curtains in coral that are affordable since I would probably need 4 panels total. I like yellow with green curtains but my sister has the exact same nursery, down to the light blocking curtains I would end up with. Oh, and there is wood trim and doors in the house. I would love some ideas from someone who hasn't been obsessing about it for the past two weeks, and also driving her husband crazy.

I would stick with yellow, but do a different color curtain.

My daughters room is the exact same color as a BG Mirror. All of her trim is white, with a white curtian rid and lavander curtains and area rug. Her bedding is mostly pink with some blue purple and greens mixed in. Her crib is white and her changing pad is light green. I'm not home ill get some pics when I can to give you an idea, but I LOVE it. Her room is even smaller than that and its very bright and cheery,
But not to bright that it will keep her up.

I would do a light pink. Then again my room from newborn til 2 was yellow and to this day I hate yellow. DD's room from newborn til 11 months was a mint green, guess what color she hates....yup mint green.
Your DD is older so maybe it won't make her hate it.

If you go with the turquoise/coral (which sounds like a fun combo, btw!), could you dye curtains to the color you want?

I'm totally unoriginal... I thought yellow or light pink. I'm not very decorator-y though

Dying the curtains is a genius idea! We have some white tab top curtains that would be perfect. It never occured to me to dye them, which is why I'm glad I asked you all.

Re: Holy Crap, I need to pick paint for an entire house!

How about Benjamin Moore's revere pewter (which is a griege) and then do turquoise or pink as colors in bedding or wall art??? Yellows tend to go super bright at night....and the revere pewter is going to hide kid scuff marks well.
