sports snacks

I need some ideas. My daughter will be prscticing gymnastics (lots of conditioning over the summer) 3 days a week for 3 hours per day. They take a snack break after about 90 minutes and I need some ideas. Healthy, light yet enough to give her energy for the rest of practice, not messy.

So far I have the following ideas:

String cheese
Apples with peanut butter
yogurt
Granola bars

She doesn't like hummas and doesn't like raw veggies very often.

Apples and a handful of unsalted cashews or almonds are also an excellent pair.

Hardboiled eggs with a slice of cheese and a fruit

That's mainly my snack list from when I was a kid

Re: sports snacks

Thanks. I forgot about hard boiled eggs. Great idea and easy to keep on hand.

They will be doing a ton of conditioning over the summer and I want to make sure she has plenty of high quality food.

Re: sports snacks

My dd always has fruits and veggies available (she's a dancer, dancing 7+ hours a week)
If you are feeding snacks at the gym, ask about their nut policy, I know ours is nut free so that's not an option for her. We do veggies with hummus dip, plain fruit, or with a yogurt dip, sometimes she will being leftover quinoa salad and have that, or homemade veggie sushi with avacado. I know she has said that cheeses and milk make her feel sluggish, so watch for that as well.
