That's exactly why I hate one piece pajamas!

Summer: lightweight cotton footy pajamas

Winter: either fleece footy pajamas or lightweight pajamas and a fleece halo sleep sack.

Footed sleepers year round, I do alter the weight of them with the season. With my oldest, she wore either light cotton two peices or just a diaper in the summer because we didn't have AC, but since we moved here it's footies year round. My girls are restless sleepers.

OP - DD at 16 mos, still wears a sleeper. I've got two piece jammies for her for summer though.

Re: Pajamas

my little 2 were dry at night before a year old, so naked was the norm for 2 1/2 yr old (he has just recently started to want pjs), he sleeps with a fleece blanket.
the 10 mo old sometimes gets out of his diap at night (he only sleeps with a diap, no diap cover) and since he doesn't pee until am, it's fine. I keep a diap on him, bc if he wakes and I don't feel like taking him potty, he does wet his diaper.

Right now my youngest three are sleeping in carters fleece footies. They are 19 months, 5, and 7. The older two still love them and ask for them

Ds1 who is 10 is a hot sleeper and he only sleeps in bottoms. His favorites are jersey shorts from gap.

During summer, dd will switch to short johns and the younger boys will wear shorts/tee sets.

We just switched to fleece soakers for night time, which have been great *except* that I can't put anything over them! I have a dozen PJ sets and he only ever wears the shirts now, because any shorts or pants are wet by morning.

At 1, she wore jammies and a sleep sack. When we got rid of the sleep sack (about 17months), footed jammies or long jammies and socks.

Re: Pajamas

Winter time she did footed sleepers w/ CD & wool soaker underneath. We actually had some hand-me-downs from SIL/niece...they were Carter's knit pajamas w/ a top that snapped into the footed bottoms. I wish they still made those, they's be great for DD. Summertime, she just wore a diaper & soaker.
