A first for me as a parent. my oldest lost her first tooth today.

I do not know what to do with it!

Keep? Toss?

If keep, how?!

We toss them. I think it's creepy to keep teeth.

That said, if I kept my kids' teeth lost thus far I'd have 20 teeth piled somewhere. No thanks.

I keep them in old vitamin bottles the smallest sized ones we got and label them with the kids initials. They are hidden away so they won't accidentally find them.

We have Ava's in a Baggie in dh's nightstand. I don't really know what to do with them, either. Am too sentimental to throw them out, but don't really know what else to do...make a tooth necklace?! Haha

My dd finds everything. She's nosy lol. So I told her the tooth fairy put then in my jewelry box so I could keep them. For what I'm not sure!

I wouldn't keep them. I had my knee cap replaced, I didn't keep the old one on the freezer or anything. Pretty much the same concept, no?

I thought about keeping them, kept DD's for a little while. Then realized, when DS1 lost his first tooth, that I'd have a hell of a lot of teeth by the time everyone is done! So, they get tossed now

Lol, that's great I wish I could keep anything in my jewelry box...my boys like max & ruby to much and run off to play pirate treasure with mine. So for now mine is packed away it kept winding up empty.

I kept the first tooth and put it in a cute little lil baggie in her scrapbook, alongside the pics of her first toothless smile...she asked me how I got it and I told her the tooth fairy brought it back to me, so I could put it in her scrapbook lol...

I'd keep the first one and toss the rest.
