Re: ISO things to take my baby boy to the beach/ pool

The ones that say 9 months are perfectly safe for 5 month old. Any infant that can lift its head up using its arms can use those floats. Those age ranges are just an extra precaution for the manufacturer.

My problem is my babies are too short for them, so was hoping there was something made smaller, KWIM?

Ooooh nice!!! I hope to promote a good healthy swimming habit with my baby too! Any tips? What age to start? Do u bring any essential items to the pool with the kiddos?

We start around 5-6 months. I just hold them in the water at the pool. We keep it short (hour or less) because of body temperature regulation. I don't push it and let them adjust at their own pace. I like have big, fluffy soft towels. And shade!
