What Ingredient in Good Start is DS Sensitive To?

DS appears to be sensitive to something in Good Start. We thought he was just a happy spitter. We switched to Up & Up Sensitive at about 5 months old and he stopped spitting up that very day. I felt like a pretty bad mom.

But in all my years of formula feeding, Good Start has been touted as a "great" formula by many. It's supposed to be so gentle. So what is DS sensitive to in it?

He doesn't spit up on Similac (the blue one) or Target's Up & Up Sensitive (and by extention, I would assume Similac Sensitive). So what's the difference?

I guess I'm curious because I want to know what ingredient I'm going to need to avoid in the future.

Anyone have experience with this type of thing?
Thanks!

I assume you mean Good Start Gentle, I know it has whey protein concentrate which is not in Similac sensitive.

I was thinking that's the major difference, too. At the same time, I thought the whey protein was what made it so "gentle."

I guess you could look at the ingredients all side by side and compare what else is in the Good Start and not in Similac. My DD did the best on Good Start Gentle when she was tiny and by the time she was 6 months, she tolerated pretty much any formula. Each baby is different, so what's important is to find what works!

Now my DD takes maybe two bottles a day and otherwise eats lots of food. She's growing up WAY too fast!
