what are the best newborn CD's

I have a 10 week old and I LOVE CDing!! we didn't start right away but closer to 6 weeks bc the CD's I had were WAAAYYY too bulky for her, but I was wondering for my next one which CD's were the best fit and function for newborns? Any advice??

My little mama is one week old, so far what I'm using are Kissaluvs cotton terry fitteds size 0 (KL0), XS prefolds under covers ( Disana wool, fleece soakers, and PUL covers I made w a snap down for the cord), Lil Joeys and Imagine Bamboo NB AIOs. I have all kinds of other stuff ready and waiting for her little cord to fall off, then the party starts!
I bought a variety to see what we like and so far the only thing I wish I had more of are the lil Joeys. I only bought 2 bc I heard so many mixed reviews but they fit her skinny buns perfectly and we have had no leak issues! I don't know how long they will fit but they are so easy to pop on, and they don't leave marks like the bamboo terry does in the Imagines.
That's my two cents for now! I CD a toddler too but used only gDiapers on him when he was new. Changed it up thistime!

I LOVED bumgenius xs. They fit just like a sposie. I folded down the top (above velcro) for her cord. The simplex and lil joeys are also great and have snap-downs for newborns. The lil joeys only lasted 3 weeks for us. Simplex lasted the longest, but I wasn't a huge fan. I preferred aplix for the first few months. Much easier for midnight changes.

Re: what are the best newborn CD's

For the first week I loved lil Joeys. Now I am in love with my NB Simplex.

I'm kind of a frugal nerd, so we just went with prefolds and six Thirsties Duo Wrap covers unfortunately they were bulky...

I loved the trimness of Nana's Bottoms Pocket AIO and Sposoeasy. Found them used, so they weren't that expensive. Alva NBs were...meh, kind of leaky for us.

We're doing a newborn rental which has all kissaluvs size 0 and thirsties covers. That way I don't spend money on nb diapers, and where we rent from gives you store credit back, so it comes to $40 for 12 weeks of diapering!
