^^These were my faves, along with Thirsties XS AIOs, but they stopped making those years ago. Glad I still have a few tucked away.

I'm getting the diaper rental from Itsy Bitsy Bums. Just go to her site and click on newborn rental, and it has all the info. I'm lucky that its local for me, but she's an online retailer and ships throughout the country.

Re: what are the best newborn CD's

Within a week, we used FB OS Elites on the newborn setting. Abby was about eight pounds at that point. They worked great for her! We also used GMD prefolds and Thirsties/Bummis covers.

Re: what are the best newborn CD's

Love the Lil Joeys/ THX diapers for the first few weeks. Had a few pee leaks but no poo leaks.

Now starting to use my velcro newborn Alvas with charcoal bamboo insert, they definitely hold a lot and haven't had any leaks.

The Simplex have been good, just don't have many of them. My other Blueberry diapers leaked, weren't tight enough around the legs.

I've used the Ashar size 0 and Kissa fitteds and they were good too. The Ashar diapers are very trim, but I don't have a trim cover. I have Capris and Thirsties Duo size 1.

She peed right out the back of the Tots Bots Tiny Fit within 30 seconds of putting it on, and it was on nice and snug. Not sure why it didn't absorb fast enough. I'll keep giving it a chance, but at $18 it is by far the most expensive diaper in my stash (I got the Blueberry diapers as seconds) and I don't love it enough to buy any more at that price.
