Moby help

I can't seem get a good fit. It seems to start stretching out after being worn for a little while. I'm constantly having to retighten it. Has anyone else have this problem? How do I get it to stop?

you're lo is 8m right? he's probably too big. you could invest in a woven wrap which works similarly without the stretch, or a different type of carrier altogether. I didn't really use the moby past the newborn stage.

Yeah she's 28 pounds and 29 inches. I got it used so it didn't come with a book I actually had a friend walk me through on how to use it.
I'm going to look into woven wraps right now.

Re: Moby help

I cannot really offer help on trying to keep it from feeling like it is stretching out. But I have used mine with my toddler who is about the same size as your LO. I have washed mine a few times so maybe that has helped keep mine from feeling stretched out.

I've only washed it once since I got it and maybe used it about 10 times I'm total. Maybe a few washes will help it stop stretching.

Re: Moby help

If it's used, it might already be stretched out too much from the previous user. You might want to invest in a new one.

8 months old is about when you need to switch to a woven or different carrier. The Moby is only meant for the first few months, with how stretchy it is. I love the Moby and wish it lasted longer!

ETA: try looking for a used Didymos Indio, they are so cushy and great for any weather.

I was just going to ask if there was one that wasn't to hot. I live in AZ and were going to start having 90-100 days already.

I stopped carrying my son at 16 lbs in a stretchy wrap. It sagged too much. You can make your own gauze wrap. I bought the material and made 2. Super easy.
