Tide Free & Clear...Wash directions?

I just bought a new detergent. Tide Free and Clear liquid. I have a top loader, hard water with a water softener, so soft water in the end. How full should I put the water level? How much detergent should I use? How many rinses would you suggest?

Thanks!

I have soft water so I don't know if this will be helpful. I use tide free and gentle, I do a large load (so the most water you can do) that's for 18-20 diapers. And I use up to the 3 line. Then followed by another short wash/rinse cycle with no detergent.

So is my water not soft water? We have a water softener... I've been confused about this.

Also what if you wash less diapers? Should I decrease the water and detergent?

I'm not sure, I don't know too much about water and softeners and stuff like that. Maybe its just regular now?

I would just use your large wash setting and detergent to the 2 or 3 line (whatever you would normally use on your clothes!) and then do an extra rinse. Try not to obsess about the softness or hardness of your water, if it is close to normal, you should be fine!

Uless you are only washing like half as many diapers I'd stick to the full load, you want lots of water, if you are concerned with agitation throw a towel in a small load.
