Re: Please just reassure me

Thinking of you, mama! When I was about 39 weeks, DD decided to not move for quite a while, I couldn't feel her for a few hours and they had me come in. Of course, they put the doppler on and she had a strong heartbeat and then she started kicking and rolling around like crazy. I cried so hard, it was the peace of mind I needed. Hope everything is OK mama!

Eating didn't do anything. Even when I ate some extra carbs to make sure I had more than my normal reading (though still below 140)

She did exactly that. They got me hooked up and she went nuts.

I'm contracting, but not regularly enough. She looks good so I'll go home and hope she's not a stinker tomorrow

Re: Please just reassure me

Glad everything is ok! Try to enjoy the last bit of time with baby inside you! I wish I could have enjoyed the last part of my pregnancy more. Now I miss being pregnant (a year later, that is, now that I've forgotten the discomfort!)

Tell that little girl to behave!!

I'm so glad all was well! My DS did this to me right at 40 weeks and it freaked me out! All was well with him too but it was very scary for a bit.

She's been a bit of a punk lately. If we get to the 21st then I'll be doing lunges to try to convince her to be out. If she's not out on her own by 39 weeks I'll have a scheduled c/s.

Re: Please just reassure me

Glad she's ok, but you totally did the right thing by going in. Don't be afraid to again if you feel the need. It's not about being mistaken, or looking silly when the baby starts kicking up a storm, it's about making sure the baby is safe. We moms can handle looking foolish for the sake of our kids.
