Best diaper bag with two?

I will have a 3yo and a newborn this summer. . I'm looking into getting a new bag. If you have 2 (or more) littles, do you prefer a tote or a crossbody? I would say I do babywearing and strollering 50/50...so I'm wondering if a crossbody would be awkward?

The long strap to hang on the stroller is nice. Then you can wear it cross body while wearing.

I have a tote that also has a long strap that I can wear cross body. Best of both worlds.

I have a 3 year old and a one year old and I love my DadGear backpack. Gives me a hands free option to be able to carry the baby and hold DD's hand. I've used it while wearing DS in a Boba, and it also clips to a stroller. It is huge and has room for CDs, change of clothes for both, snacks, drinks, and my stuff too! I wish it had an insulated part for drinks but other than that it's perfect. They have feminine styles too...not just for Dads!

I use a Vera Bradley Vera tote. It is big enough and machine washable.

I have a Timbuk2 custom tote that I love, inside and out. I had a potty trained 3 year old and a newborn when I had it made. It's 22 months old now and looks brand new still, very exciting. The bonus is that it's really nice and doesn't really look like a diaper bag.

I have a JJ Cole Caprice bag and I love it even more than the Vera Bradley tote it replaced.

I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. It's roomy and has plenty of pockets (but not too many!) it has a removable long strap and stroller clips.

My DH loves it too

Re: Best diaper bag with two?

When I babywear, I do NOT like having something else on my body. I feel like a mule! And that is not the feeling I like to have when I'm holding my sweeties! lol I like to cuddle and enjoy my body free to be in my babywearing moments. So, no matter the bag it's being held, hanging, sitting in, or under my stroller. I really like the Skip Hop bags for this! I'm getting the Studio Tote. I've had the Duo and Dash and let them go for Ju-Ju-Bes which is another reliable brand that I love. I'm not into the Vera Bradley prints at all and I do like JJ Cole. What I do when I babywear is that if I'm without my stroller, I normally have a clutch big enough for a diaper change, burp cloth, and a few of my things. If I have the stroller than it's usually because I'm gonna be taking my time while I'm out, so I take a bag.

jjb be prepared is great for two, but it gets heavy. I use it a ton and it still looks brand new. I imagine any bag that you pack with that much would be heavy. I have to bottle feed so I need to carry a lot.

I'm in the same boat - 3yo and a newbie in May. I am planning to use a large Land's End tote right now because I just can't find the perfect bag.

I saw a JJB BFF today and it looked really promising, but $82.50 seems like alot when I already have several nice diaper bags.
