What would yall recommend for a good night fitted for that size? She likes Sandys, but the small is still HUGE on my 3 1/2 month old dgd, so I wasn't going to encourage this dd to incorporate them early on.
It looks awesome! I think a preemie prefold could be trifolded in the workhorse for nights.

Well this is her first baby and she wants several so we are definitely buying a good nb stash; one that will last through several babies!

Re: How does this look for a newborn stash?

Tiny birds on etsy makes my absolute favorite fitted diaper it's velour material I believe (don't know the specifics) my boys were extreme wetters, nothing would work on top of that my boys where really big do mist diapers and covers would leave red marks. The tiny birds fitted diaper with their wool soaker shorts where the perfect solution for staying dry at night and no red marks :-)

I'm expecting a my 4th baby this month and although I'm on a budged I splurged on 2 fitteds from tiny birds and was able to find the soaker shorts from Virginia diaper co. I'm sooo excited

Re: How does this look for a newborn stash?

FWIW, the stash is somewhat modified now as I am having some awesome fitteds made which will take the place of a dozen of the nb workhorse (and we upped the original amount of workhorse anyway). Our plan now looks something like this:

1 dozen fitteds from Baby Coon Designs on Etsy
2 dozen NB workhorse
half dozen nb bamboo flats
few nb covers (not sure which ones)
2 wool soakers
2 wool longies
2-3 wool shorties

For smalls we will have:

18-24 small workhorse
1 dozen yellow-edge prefolds
half dozen bamboo flats (may add more if dd really likes them)
6-12 hemp flats
few covers if Flips don't fit yet
2 wool longies
2 wool soakers

Beyond that we are thinking:

18 or so medium workhorse
1 dozen medium pfs
the bamboo flats
the hemp flats
Flips covers
Flip overnight inserts
6-12 BG 4.0s to stuff for diaper bag and/or nighttime
wool

Well this is my gift to her to use for all her babies. Of course I'm sure it won't be the only gift I'll ever buy, much to my husband's dismay! ;-p
