Excited - Pedia smart...

Our daughter has been on Boost/Pediasure for growth issues and I've really wanted to find something organic or all natural. I saw Orgain in Whole Foods and it was really expensive. Then I found Pedia Smart...is this some kind of secret? In all the nutrition specialists we've seen, no one has ever mentioned that there was an organic 'Pediasure' type drink?

Ordered a can...now to see if she'll drink it!

My son has been on PediaSmart for three years now (he doesn't eat solid foods). It has been a wonderful thing. You can order it over the phone or online and usually get it in about two days. PLUS, depending on the reason you are using it, you might qualify for a medical discount which would save you a TON. If you find that your daughter likes it, see if her pediatrician will fill out the " medical hardship" form on their website.

We've been using it intermittently for 3 years. We get it at Whole Foods. It tastes fine.

Can you shake this in a sippy cup to Mix it or do you really need a mixer and blender. 20 month old ds is on 2 Pediasures a day as I found I can get this in Jackson. I think I may try that on him instead of Pediasures.

I will note that it is delicious made into a smoothie. We use coconut milk + chocolate pediasmart + banana + strawberries + greens supplement in a blender. He loves it.

Re: Excited - Pedia smart...

We tried it years ago and my daughter wouldn't drink it......she was a carnation instant breakfast junkie, I guess. It really stressed me out that she was essentially living off of carnation instant breakfast, but the alternative was starvation, so I was thankful we had it. Anyway, I asked our nutritionist about pediasmart at the time, and she had concerns about the arsenic levels in it (main ingredient is rice), but it appears that they have a process to filter that out now.
