When my Grammie passed away last year we had those very same bitter-sweet feelings. We were so sad she was gone from us, but we know that she was finally reunited with my Grampie (he died 15 years before her), she finally got to meet her baby girl (Myrna Jean had SB and only lived a day, and my Grammie never got to see her ), and she was able to meet our sweet girl, too.

Well I was in the city with DS and DH came to get me. We made it half way home but its basically white out. So we're stopping at a hotel, luckily we are in the city my hospital is. So just incase we'll be close. Makes me feel better because even if I went into labor in a white out we wouldn't leave to go to the hospital. Too dangerous. There's hoodrites near us and I'm sure they have a midwife if we had to.
