Re: You know you are a parent when...

You get compliments about your cooking - singing- dancing, etc when you have clearly not demonstrated any real talent.

LOL we are working in this right now! She is 2 1/2 and her hair really needs to be pulled back all the time now. Boys were so much easier!

And yes to telling DH about nap quality!!

Or time alone once kids are in bed. It's either shower, get more sleep or spend an hour to myself.
I end up drinking two cups of coffee and making sure I put on enough deodorant most days. :/ Can you tell which choice I prefer to make?

You finally surrender to walking through the grocery store with your toddler on your hip and her hand down your shirt. Any attempt to remove it just makes the situation worse (boob exposure and a tantrum)

Before 12 months, my DD would sign nurse to me and look at me with the sweetest face. Somehow after she turned one and entered toddlerhood, she stopped signing and now sticks her hand down my shirt and licks my chest when she wants to nurse. Drives me crazy!

going grocery shopping alone feels like a little retreat instead of a chore.
