Stay dry prefolds

How are the osocozy stay dry prefolds? If I don't like the suedecloth can I just use the other side? Does the suedecloth get stinky? Better to stick with the plain cotton ones?

Re: Stay dry prefolds

If you don't like suedecloth you should probably just get regular prefolds. If you don't use the stay-dry side then you're wasting space on what could be an absorbent layer for something that doesn't do anything. I don't think they get stinky, but that is one more layer of bulk with no other benefits if you aren't using it for stay-dry.

They are horrible! The suedecloth got SO SCRATCHY after prepping them....I would never put that next to my baby's skin!! They are the last thing ill grab. They are the least absorbent thing we own :-(

*****if you have a sewing machine, get some micro fleece from Johanns and sew it on to your favorite PFs. It's so soft!

Re: Stay dry prefolds

Or you could make a sleeve to stuff prefolds into. I know Blueberry and I think CB sells something likethis , but if you can sew it's super easy! Like a little pillowcase.

CB does have an insert sock, but it is very narrow. It wouldn't be good if you wanted to fan out the back. You could lay the PF out how you like it and make the sleeve to that shape.
