Who will be returning to work?

So I will be going back to work when Silas is 19 weeks hopefully, but I am applying for another position when it opens. I may have to go back earlier if I get it.

So I started pumping today. I got 5oz in 10 minutes which is way more than I got pumping with DS1. If I can get that 2 times a day I will have a major freezer stash.

Nice. I'll be pumping soon too. I'll go back when Alie is 5 months (end of August), but we start 1 bottle a day between 4-6 weeks. All my friends who waited to start bottles couldn't get their LOs to take one when they returned to work between 4-6 months. :/

I will be going back the end of August so LO will be about 4 months I'll start pumping and give her a bottle a day or something after we've well established BFing so it's not too hard of a transition for her.

I go back to work May 20, but will be keeping the baby with me until October. I've pumped some, and actually already given her a bottle due to my nipples turning to road rash for a while. Need to remember to keep doing that though.

Re: Who will be returning to work?

i am going back in 3 weeks...already upsets me to think about it...i might take the full 8 weeks not just 6 if i can afford to

I have been pumping some too...hoping to get childcare about a block from work so I can just take breaks and go nurse him without pumping..worst case scenario i would at least get to go at lunch.

Sort of OT, but your Iso and this thread caught my attention... I think I have all the parts to the freestyle hands free set up. I will send you a PM when I get back from dinner, but don't let me forget! And I will absolutely forget which is why I am posting here.

Thoren will be a week old tomorrow, so that means I go back to work in 5 weeks. I've been pumping the past few days and I've gotten at least 4 oz, of not more each time. I think I'll have plenty of milk saved up for him.

I will be going back in about 10 weeks but only very part time. I will start pumping and trying out bottles in the next 2 weeks.

for you!!

I can't imagine going back to work... well, outside the home, I mean. Technically I went back to work when I came home from the hospital! Dishes and laundry and lunches and chores - that's my work
But I can't imagine leaving my babies to go to work.
