Scoliosis and Baby wearing

So Ive been on a mission to find a carrier that I can tolerate for more than 10-20 minutes at a time with my bad back/bad hips(due to scoliosis). I am borrowing a friend's woven for the time being and found that the ruckless carry really works. But Im curious about a SSC...we own the ergo performance, but my husband gets way more use out of it than I do. My chiro suggested one that can cross in the back. Whats your favorite most supportive SSC?

I have scoliosis and love my Gemini with the straps crossed. I also love my Beco 4th Generation with crossed straps.

Can't you cross the straps on the Ergo? I have a regular (not performance), and you can unbuckle the shoulder straps to cross them. I'm pretty sure you could do the same thing with the performance.
