Re: What do you think of these names?

Thanks for your opinion, everyone! I am so torn on this and I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of. This helps a lot.

I didn't think about "King Harrison". I think Harrison is much more distinguished than Harry, but Harry isn't the absolute worst I suppose...

Does Oliver Rex really not sound so bad?

Hannah is cute!

Why not Rex for a first name? I like that the best of all the names hands down.

Why not keep both names on your list. I liked having a few for each sex and we gave the name that was appropriate after we met him.

I will warn you about the keeping of both names. We did this for our now 9 day old DS2. We were totally stuck, loved both but each loved one a little more than the other (not the same one). We figured ok, we will wait until birth because so many people told us that when we saw him, we would just "know."

Let me tell you, we didn't! He wasn't named until day 3 and that was only because hubby knew I just adored one in particular and he had come around to it enough that he was happy with it as well.

I was gonna say this.u kind immediately went to Rex Harrison and now I can stop singing, "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face"

I like Oliver and Sheldon.
I feel like Harrison might defy the rule of nicknames. I have taught several now (middle school and high school) and they all go by Harrison. I've been really paying attention to this because we love the name Harrison but Harry? Not so much...

Re: What do you think of these names?

Clearly the first name needs to start with T so he can refer to himself as T Rex . Of your choices I like Harrison though.

T Rex! Awesome! I think they all sound good with Rex. I'd vote for Oliver Rex as my favorite.

Are you planning on calling him by both names as his first name? Because otherwise I wouldn't worry too much about them going perfectly together. (But all these do to me, so not really an issue, I guess.)
